Christmas is fast-approaching and I am excited about it. :) I suppose that Christmas has been one of the most faved holidays ever. It’s the season of giving and caring. Although we are expected to share, care and love other people every single day of lives, this holiday season has this special thing that makes us want to share more. hihi

I bet all of us have at least one wish for Christmas that we just keep to ourselves. It’s usually a non material wish that is quite impossible to get that’s why we take advantage of this holy season when most prayers and wishes come true. This is the time when we pray harder and try to remove the thought of not getting it, agree? ~~ okay, enough drama. :)
Christmas season is also said to be the holiday for kids. You know how little boys and girls love opening presents. The smile on their faces are just so heartwarming. :) The best gift I have received when I was a child was a pretty doll in a red dress. I named her Jennifer. Well, actually I used to name all my dolls Jennifer and I don’t know why. HAHAHA. What’s the best present you’ve received so far?
My favorite parts of Christmas preparation and celebration:
1. Christmas shopping
2. Gift wrapping – I always feel excited to go home after a long day of Christmas shopping because I find wrapping the presents fun. :)
3. Helping in the kitchen – It’s nice because you can really feel how everybody is excited about the noche buena. Talking, giggling, laughing while cooking ~ SUPER FUN!
4. Eating all together with big smiles on every other person’s face. Such a good feeling. :blush:
5. Opening of gifts – Need I say more? hihi

Oh how i love the title. :) Ilang days nalang and christmas na! Opening of gifts is my favorite part. But i have to say, hindi nababalot yung gift na gusto kong matanggap sa christmas e. You’re right, it’s a non material thing. Actually, marami. Sana lang. :))

Christmas is one of my favorite holiday too, I love wrapping presents and packing candies/biscuits to give for the little children who’ll visit us during Christmas. And of course, because of the gifts! haha

I’m excited about the Christmas season too! It looks like our favorite things about it are the same XD I have a lot of fun with Christmas shopping, even though it’s hard to think of gifts for some people.

LOL I only remember that my mom bought me the “toy” that I really liked at that time.. I think it was something to do with the nails.. LOL remember those stuffs? XD
aww I used to have fun wrapping presents, but now I became lazy! XD poor me. Missing all the fun! but ofcourse I do help in the kitchen since i’m a graduate of culinary arts.. i HAVE TO help them xD even if I’m very lazy to do so. sheesh. and ofcourse while we cook, i eat the food XD HAHAHA!

It’s weird that I’m commenting about Christmas and my family here are playing Christmas songs. XD
Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday. Other than we get to have Christmas breaks, we have Simbang Gabi. :P I really love the meaning of it, and how people wake up early just to attend the Mass.
It’s funny that when I was a kid all I thought about when it’s Christmas was gifts and the material things and money that I’d received. I guess I’ve grown up because I don’t crave for such material things anymore. Things like good health, close family ties and safety seemed too simple for a wish but they matter greatly.

Urgh. The thing is our teacher doesn’t know how to teach. He would demonstrate in class how to code this and that using a projector and we’d just be watching him code and babble. :| It’s really frustrating. I feel like my brain is empty if I don’t code and we don’t even have lab hours for our Java subject, which is really unusual. Geez!

As sad as it is i think i have lost the sense of christmas in me and i need to get it back. I don’t know what those past years were that made me feel this way. It’s like those feelings i have when i was younger kind of vanished and the thing that’s left is this empty whole inside me. :((. Guess i’ll have to find out this year. The most things maybe that i’ll miss this christmas is having to spend it with my cousins. My wish for this christmas like the same year is good health for me and my family. :)

I almost love doing your favorite part during Christmas except for the gift wrapping. Maybe because I’m not really good at it. I’m just good at ruining the gift wrapper but not always. Sometimes I tend to keep it.

I gave up on that one little non materialistic Christmas wish when my family fell apart and everyone was out for their own self and I was known as the bad seed in the family (aka the scapegoat)
But I still love Christmas just the same cause during the holiday season folks just seem “nicer & warmer”

Christmas is getting very close. I really miss simbang gabi in the Philippines na talaga. Probably the best present that i accepted was my Nintendo Wii Set. I like the noche buena and gift opening.
