Singapore, here I come!How is Christmas celebrated in Singapore?

Despite being a multicultural identity, all the Singaporeans join hands and celebrate Christmas with the same enthusiasm and vigor as they celebrate their own cultural festival. The streets in Singapore are lighted up and beautifully decorated that holds on to the festive spirit of Singapore Christmas. Modern customs of Christmas include giving gifts to your near and dear ones and decorating your house with beautiful Santa Claus, Christmas tree, streamers and different colored lights. – FS

Apparently, Singapore Christmas celebration is just the same with how Filipinos celebrate this special holiday. So yeah, my younger sisters and I are going there on the 23rd to be with our Dad on Christmas. He’s been working there for more than 10 years as an IT professional. I’m half-excited half-not so excited. Reason? I’ll keep it to myself. :ugh:

Anyway, 2 more gifts and I’m officially done with my Gift-shopping for my loved ones. :) One for my dad and one for my tito. My Dad, I so don’t know what to give him because I don’t know what else he doesn’t have and no, I could not afford his major wants. Haha. I’m planning to buy him a shirt from Nike or 3 stars and a sun but he’s so fussy when it comes to shirts. Sleeves should be like this, the length should be like that… blah blah. Haha. Talk about a meticulous man. :yeahright:

[edit: 122009] Christmas shopping is officially DONE. I bought my Dad a shirt and a mug from Starbucks. I also got a mug for Tito. :) And yeah, I bought the pair of wedges that I really want from People are People. And it was on sale! 50% babe! How cool can Christmas sales be?? :) [/edit]

I’m excited to open the gift my sister gave me. I actually know what it is because I asked her to buy that for me when we were in the mall. Haha. Ohhh. Speaking of mall, I saw Tiff K yesterday. I glanced at the woman behind me who was talking to someone over the phone and I was like, “Is that Tiff K?”. I did not approach her or anything cause I wasn’t sure so I texted her and yes, IT WAS HER. Haha. :ugh:

Okay, I am becoming very random. I guess I’d have to end this now. Bye! :grin:
