Hello! I’m here to talk a bit about my Singapore trip. It’s a very long story, I tell you. So yeah, this will be an outline story telling. hihi I’ll just list 2 categories of my top faves which kinda summarize the FUN EXPERIENCES I’ve had in my trip. =)) Photos are still unavailable since my Dad hasn’t shared with us the pictures yet. Haha. :)
5 MAJOR FAVORITE PLACES AND ACTIVITIES: Show ▼
5. Underwater World – I saw lots of sea creatures that I have never seen. One of my favorites is the Leafy Seadragon which basically looks like a bunch of floating / swimming leaves. When I read the label that says “Leafy Seadragon”, I was like, “Where is it?” and then I noticed that the swimming leaves has a long snout and eyes. Haha. So that was it! :) My most favorite was the Dugong. It’s my first time to see one. It looks so cute and the lower part of it’s body really seems like a mermaid. FYI: The mermaid thing started when a bunch of fishermen saw a dugong swimming on the ocean. They thought it was a girl with fins and fishtail. :D
4. Singapore Flyer – It is the biggest Ferris wheel in the world. Each capsule can accommodate up to 28 people. Inside it, you can walk around and enjoy the beauty of Singapore. :)
3. Sentosa – I guess everyone who went to Singapore has been to Sentosa. It’s a wonderful place. :) The favorite stuffs we did there are the luge ride and skyride! It was so much fun! :) We bought a ticket for 3x luge ride and skyride ~ yes, that’s how excited my sisters are to try those rides and just like what they say, “Once is never enough!” At first, I was like “Nope, I’m not luge riding! You can’t make me!!” and my sisters and dad were like, “C’mon! It’ll be fun! We won’t leave you behind.” So yeah, majority wins and I’m glad it did. I enjoyed it. On our first ride, HA! It was crazy! I was so scared that I might fall or something (FYI: I fall a lot. Even when I’m just walking, I’d fall. HAHA!) but I enjoyed it so after that first ride, I was like, “ONE MORE TIME!!“. Haha! And the Skyride, it was fun, too! I was just afraid that my slippers would fall on the bushes and trees under us. Haha! :D
2. 4D Magix – also located in Sentosa. We watched a movie about pirates with 4d glasses on. I thought it was just like seeing a 3d movie but there’s an added thrill. When a pirate stamps his feet, the chair we were sitting on would shake. When the water splashes, water will spray on our faces. The part that made me really scream was the scene when a bunch of bees attacked the pirate. On the screen, it seems that the bees are really all over me plus, there’s an effect on my very face and on my back that feels like those bees were really stinging me. Haha! IT WAS CRAZY!! :)
1. Night Safari – I’m a zoo person. Haha. I love seeing big animals on their almost-natural habitat. We explored the whole zoo (at night, of course) riding a tram which looks like the train that goes around in Mall of Asia. :) After the ride, my Dad, sisters and I were not yet that tired so we explored once again… on feet. :) It was fun and scary. Haha! :)

5 MAJOR FAVORITE BUYS: Show ▼
We did a lot of shopping because we went to the mall every other day. My Tito and Dad were generous, thank God! :)
5. $5 tops from Cotton On – I bought two tops ($5 each) and a pair of tights ($15) from Cotton on. It was on sale… SUPER SALE actually. I guess the original prices were twice, if not thrice the price of the sale prices. :)
4. Jacket from Gap – It’s a white jacket with a blue Gap print. It’s the most expensive item I bought through out the trip. :)
3. Shorts from Mango – It took me, I think, 5 days to find that pair of shorts. Every Mango boutiques I went to either doesn’t have shorts available or have very small/big sizes. You’d rarely find a good item on the Mango shops there because the good ones are sold out already. Why? Because no one could resist the 75% OFF SALE!
2. Tops from Zara – I bought it on our last day. I still had dollars on my wallet and since I could not use them here, I was determined to spend it on a Zara item. Again, it was on sale that’s why I was able to buy 2 items instead of just 1. The Tiger top I bought is posted on my Project 365 – 1.365 and the other one is just a simple tee that says ZARA. :)
1. PANDA STUFFED TOY from Night Safari!!! :) It also took me days to find that stuffed toy! :D I was so happy when I saw one. I wanted the bigger panda but it was too expensive for a stuffed toy so I bought the smaller one instead. Photo posted on my a href=”http://notafairytale.net” target=”_blank”>Project 365 – 2/265. :)
Other good buys: Tops from Giordano. Pants from Esprit. Crocs shoes. Billabong slippers (50% cheaper than the ones we have here in the PH). Cardigan from TopShop. Tights. Nike slippers. More tops. Wallet. Shirt and other stuffs from souvenir shops. I forgot the other small things I bought. :)) *
* Hauling/Sharing not bragging. If you hate this, leave.
